The funniest part is that Natedoge was unhappy at the changes then and apparently leaving. A year later he's still playing and moaning at every new development in the game.

pretty sure he left this week.
    he certainly left his guild.

Sorry to hear that. Natedoge will be missed. :(

Well I hope he's happier now, whatever he's up to.

The other funny thing is how the changes to MK went by without comment, but he's been by far the most overpowered and complained about hero ever since.

The least they should do is remove his Tenacity passive and drop his epic damage to 2x, then see how he fares and possibly Nerf him more if required.

the problem wasn't purely due to his change as noted in this post, but rather, with his epic, which made him VERY durable even if he didn't outright dodge the attack.

now not only is he a high damaging, fast hero, he's also highly unpredictable with a high dodge rate, and the ability to unload all 3 of his specials by the end of 1st round / start of second round.

imagine if any other hero can perform all 3 of their specials in that time frame, they would be pretty OP too.
    soon™ - it's the answer to everything

Oh, I can imagine - and it would awesome. Shade links, haunts and possesses all in the same turn.

Full disclosure - he's my PVP staple, but if they removed his Tenacity, lowered his dodge and eliminated his undead buff, I wouldn't shed a tear.

I haven't scoured the forums in a while, but have the devs ever commented on why they moulded MK into DB's rockstar go to killing machine. I gather there's never been a satisfactory answer. I should ask our guilds player summit rep to ask Eej and see what he says.
