- Significantly increased Turkey Feast payouts in event dungeons.
- Added guild member leaderboard that allows guilds to track the progress of their members (and includes Turkey Feasts that were collected before the leaderboard went live). This leaderboard does not have rewards, it is only for tracking purposes.
- Fixed community leaderboard rewards preview. Boosts are 3x and 4x, not 2x.
- Clarified Gobbler Pass phrasing. The multiplier has not been changed.
- Clarified Turkey Hunt quest description to say that Stuffed Turkeys count towards the quest (they always have, but hadn't been included in the initial description).

Might I suggest that instead of increasing the event payout AFTER everyone tells you how crappy it is...
You instead change the default amount to whatever it is now after the increase, so this doesn't happen again.

But yeah, the increase isn't really that noticable anyways...

Many players - like myself - are used to payout averages of 250 event tickets per vault dungeon run*. So even if you increased the turkey feast payout by 100%, that is still only 40ish per run on average. Still nowhere near enough to get much of value in the event shop.
*Of course, that all changed starting with the Iris calendar event. I used to be excited when a new event came out. That used to be the primary way that I seriously advanced my level 80 account. I loved getting powerful runes and tokens for harder to level up heroes. Now, the experience is the opposite. I dread any new event because even a serious grind does not get me much - unless I pay real cash.
Whole direction that the game has been going since Iris release is just depressing. It used to be a great experience. So sorry to see it get ruined.

I can no longer stand the direction of this game nor the insulting way issues are dealt with
(I'd also appreciate it if shiny locations were adjusted specifically so they could not be overwritten by my topmost hero...watching shinies I can't get at gets old quick.)
Completely agree.

Did they really do that? Haven't rushed to that yet. That's.....what do you call ridiculous with ludicrous on top?
loco
I’m glad I’m not the only one who noticed that.

I think the problem is the players don't have the same definition of significant that you do. When the "significantly" raised payout still isn't close to what similar payouts for similar events used to be and this game is SIGNIFICANTLY more work for less reward, you get an unhappy player base such as you have right now.

5 energy 1 key = 54 turkeys (avg)
15 energy 3 keys = 65 turkeys (avg)
C’mon that doesn’t take a mathematician to understand you are taking the p*$$
Was there a dagrund nerf/rework too?
For those deciding not to purchase the Gobbler Pass, it is possible to get to the Solaris Turkey skin goal as we already see multiple free-players on pace to achieve it but it does take a lot of daily game playing over the course of this 7-day event to achieve it.
Happy Thanksgiving
As a level 5 VIP but now free-to-play player, I'm just not finding Dungeon Boss a fun, enriching and rewarding gaming experience anymore. It's just a tedious grind. The financial/time requirement to do even moderately well in any event is just a turn off.
I'm giving the game until Winterfest to pull itself back to being interesting and fun to play even for non-payers.
I just spent $10 on Fallout Shelter which is more interesting to me. Just saying.
Go enjoy your thanksgiving.
The fact that you are forced to buy a pass to be able to effectively quick loot, and the fact that you are "supercharging" turkeys for pass holders leads me to believe that you are not selling as many passes as you would like.
I will not spend until this game model changes. I may spend $10 on another mobile game I find fun and can play when I want for as long, or short, as I want, that does not require so very much work to avoid spending money. I just don't like the principle or feel of this whole new Dungeon Boss model that has arisen the past few events. Tastes yucky.
(I appreciate xtrmin8or's efforts to communicate with us.)
Because a small handful of truly addicted players with absurd amounts of free time earning the reward for an event while thousands and thousands of others don’t is totally reasonable and definitely the way you will keep a happy and growing player base.
@xtmn8r - With all due respect, being “possible” is a poor choice for setting expectations. Many things that will never ever be done are “possible”. It seems far more appropriate to consider what is “reasonable”.
Take the following examples - offered sincerely without any intended judgement or criticism:
(1) It is “possible” to return the event payouts to the previous levels preferred by the players...however, this has been deemed not “reasonable”.
(2) It is “possible” to allocate enough DB Team resources to catch and fix practically all bugs before players experience them in the game......however, this has been deemed not “reasonable”.
(3) It is “possible” to play this game nonstop for seven days...however, I have deemed this not “reasonable”.
(4) It is “possible” to spend my life savings on this game...however, I have deemed this not “reasonable”.
One final idea to consider...
-Whether or not something is “possible” can be answered objectively (e.g., anyone can do the math and get the same answer).
-Whether or not something is “reasonable” can only be answered subjectively (e.g., it is a personal preference that varies from one individual to the next). For example, I can decide if a joke offends me but I cannot decide if a joke offends you.
My point here is that the DB Team cannot truly decide what is “reasonable” for the player community. The best you can do is make an educated guess, see how well your expectations match those of the player community, and hopefully make any necessary adjustments to achieve the best match for players and the DB Team. From what I have seen, the player community has attempted to be very clear about how they feel. The players who are considering leaving the community are not going to stay just because they learn that the event requirements are “possible”.
No kidding. If the stuff from past couple months and the current insanity continues, I'm done. Winterfest will give you one chance to tentatively redeem yourself in my book. That's my book of failed games (through greed/ignorance/stupidity). So far, my book is 100% correct after 35 years.
Hope you do better.
